Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant

Do you remember the days when Kobe Bryant was the “in” player when it came to the NBA? It was not too long ago when it was thought that Kobe Bryant was the best player in the league, and that things were going to be that way for a long time. But over the past couple of years this has changed for quite a few reasons.

First off, Kobe Bryant lost a lot of steam when he had his run in with the law for allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a hotel employee. Not only did this alienate fans, but it also put sponsors out as well.

In addition to his legal problems, Kobe Bryant also got some company at the top. He is no longer the only young gun in the NBA. Guys like Lebron James and Dwayne Wade have taken over the spotlight, and left Kobe Bryant on the outside looking in.

And finally, Kobe Bryant is no longer winning games like he did. When the Los Angeles Lakers got rid of Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant lost his counterpart. This was also a lot of drama because it is believed that Kobe Bryant did not want to share the spotlight with anyone else. So in other words he would rather lose and score more, than win and score less. Again, this put a lot of people off, and made him appear to be the bad guy.

NBA fans everywhere are excited to see what Kobe Bryant can do in the upcoming season.
