Manufactured Wars

Manufactured Wars

Today, the Trump Administration have put the United States on the wrong side of history yet again. What we are witnessed to today is a repeat of how wrong Government has been ever since World War II. We have failed to heed the warnings from General Douglas Mac Arthur. And, I quote "Once war is forced upon us there is no alternative than to apply every available means to bring it to a swift end. War's very object is victory not prolonged indecision." As a consequence every time where our armed forces were sent in harms way ever since Vietnam was a manufactured appeasement all for political and corporate gain. Note the warning from the General "Once war is forced upon us." Not since World War II has the United States officially declared war. Sure 9/11 was an attack on the US but we have not put every available means to bring the war on terror to a swift end. Instead all we have done is instigated more turmoil in the Mid-East.

The American public have been deceived into thinking that our government is using the military for our own security all the while they have been undermining it with every military engagement. This is especially what has happened when we sent troops into Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, and now our saber rattling with Iran. Today, it is no wonder that so many nations look at America as the 21st century warmonger. In this instance when Trump has already sent more of our military to the Iran region we have to remind our selves that it was Trump who has instigated the rising tensions with the embargo and sanctions imposed on Iran.

The latest incident with the Japanese oil tanker explosion is a fabricated example of the extent the Trump Administration will go to. One cannot help think that with all the lies spewing from this Administration ever since his first day in office the rising tide of tensions is a direct result of instigating and purposely trying to provoke a military response from Iran all again for the purpose for political and financial gain. Meanwhile our national security and stability as a nation is greatly diminished.

The abuse of power by the Trump Administration has been so apparent and yet too many in government are so inept they can't see the forest through the trees as they say. Remembering the quote from General Mac Arthur "when war is forced upon us" the United States has failed miserably after 9/11. What we have done since is manufacture more reasons to sell arms, send more troops in harms way, spend billions of dollars that we can't afford, and loose thousands of lives.

For over 19 years the endless senseless military interventions is not what you would call bringing the so called war on terror or for that matter every military action since to a swift and decisive end. There has been no victory only too many losses. Today, as a result the United States is crumbling within while this President has manufactured another excuse in lying to the American public that military action is warranted against Iran. This when we haven't brought the war on terror to a swift and decisive end. There is no reason not to think that if Trump triggers any military action this time is just another manufactured excuse to wage war again, all for the purpose of political and corporate financial gain. Our government will have again refuted the wise words from one of Americas greatest military leaders.
