Street Fighting Moves – Do You Know the 4 Reasons Why a "Fair" Fight is a Fool’s Fight?

Do you believe in a “fair” fight? Well, if you do, I would like to invite you over to my house to meet the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause. In this article, I will give you the 4 reasons why a “fair” fight is a fool’s fight.

How Do You – How Can You Define A “Fair” Fight?

Well, let’s see. We could start by saying a “fair” fight is one of honor, chivalry and gentlemanly conduct. What the… ! What the heck are we talking about here? Is this the 19th Victorian era where you slap the dude in the face with a pair of white-laced gloves before you challenge him to a duel outside in the garden courtyard? Man! If somebody slaps me in the face with gloves – or anything else – there’s going to be some pretty serious derriere damage happening – right then and there!

Let us examine in even greater detail this absurd idea of fairness in a street fight. (We are not talking sports fighting here. We are talking street fighting!) What else does “fighting fair” mean?

#1 – A Fair Fight Means That You Will Strike Your Aggressor Once, Maybe Hurt Him, And Then Stop Striking – This is an extreme tactical error, for you are allowing an assailant who is out to harm you to recover and come back at you with even more force and angry aggression.

#2 – A Fair Fight Means That If He Asks For Mercy You Will Give It To Him – God is the forgiver of souls. You are the kicker of butts. You do not stop your attack until the threat against you has been neutralized. Street-savvy fighters will feign being hurt just for you to let up so that they can then attack you more viciously.

#3 – A Fair Fight Means You Will Have a Reticence or Fear of Hurting Your Assailant – Your fear of hurting the other person is practically a “suicidal mindset”. If you fear hurting the other person, you will not use your most damaging and effective blows. You will “play fight” with him until he sees the chance and the opening to seriously hurt you. You have the right to hurt someone in a real fight. That’s what’s fighting is all about.

#4 – A Fair Fight Means You Will Wait Until He Is Ready To Fight You – If he takes off his jacket – you will wait ’til he takes off his jacket. If he says, let’s step outside and fight – you will politely follow him outside. What the heck is that about! While he is taking off his jacket, “clock” him on the jaw while his arms are still caught up in his coat sleeves! While he is walking ahead of you to go outside to fight, hammer-fist him from behind on the nape of the neck!

As my teacher, Norm Bettencourt would say, “There is no such thing as a dirty fighter – only an educated one.”
