Doublz is often the biggest competitor for the top spot for burgers in Paramount. Located on Paramount Boulevard, Doublz offers huge burgers, cooked the way you like with a even larger selection of toppings. One of the favorites here is the Colossal Burger, which will probably feed two or keep one person full all day long. Doublz also serves a variety of fresh sandwiches, quesadillas and burritos. Sky’s Burgers on Lakewood Boulevard offers a quaint 50’s diner atmosphere and one of the largest burgers in the Southern California area.
Nearby in Long Beach is the very well-known Dave’s Burger on Atlantic Avenue about 15 minutes south of Paramount. While the menu is limited to almost just burgers and they don’t come with French fries, Dave’s does burgers better than anyone else in the area. Keep in mind that Dave’s is often busy because their product is top notch and they don’t accept credit cards.

For sushi lovers, the place to go for lunch in Paramount is Japanese Castle, which is well-known in the Southern California area for its high quality sushi rolls, great prices and excellent service. Japanese Castle can be found on Paramount Boulevard and opens at 11am Monday through Saturday and 2pm on Sundays. This sushi restaurant offers an overwhelmingly large variety of sushi rolls from traditional to unique. Mariscos El Pereihuente on Paramount Boulevard also offers authentic Mexican lunches including all the classics like tacos, burritos, ceviche and quesadillas.
Café Corleone on Paramount Boulevard offers a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes as well as several different hand-tossed pizzas at great prices. Two of the favorite lunch menu items at Café Corleone are the Calabrese Style Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and the Chicken Vesubio.
Alondra Hot Wings on Alondra Boulevard is the go to place for all things chicken wings and is one of the best places to get lunch while watching sports on one of their many TVs.
