First of all, click the “New” button and create a webpage in a new tab.

Define a newsletter background to help your email to catch more attention. It must be:

* Ordinary;

* Without details;

* Shouldn’t distract reader from the message content;

You can change background image with the Format menu by clicking on the “Page colors and background…” menu item:

Create newsletter body

After you follow these steps, you may write your newsletter. Don’t forget, that your emails must be as short and informative as possible. The main task of HTML newsletter is to grab attention of your recipients quickly without telling them many details. Attracted reader will follow a link in your newsletter to get more details from your website.

When you create and send HTML email, remember, that photos and pictures are the most important elements of your HTML messages. They help your reader to visualize the most attractive part of your product or service without any effort, just from the glance!

To insert your images into your newsletter just drag the image from a folder on your Mac and drop it on the NVU-editor. Also, you may insert images with the help of the “Image” button of the toolbar.

Text and Links

When you finish writing your newsletter, you can start the final phase of creating your HTML message – text formatting.

If you need to change your text colors, you may do this using the “Page colors and background…” menu item of the “Format” menu. Never forget one of the main rules when you create HTML messages – use the horizontal text arrangement.

After that, you may insert all necessary links. These links are as important as the message content itself. They are the main lead to the offer details published on your website where you can display not only images, but also video and audio content finally helping you to turn your reader into a happy customer.

To insert a link in NVU, select a text or an image in your new message to work as a link, and then press the “Link” button on the toolbar.

After you click OK, a new link will be created, and your customers will have an ability to get to the offer details published on your website.

Save and Send

Now your newsletter’s webpage is finished. Click the “File – Save as…” menu item. Choose the destination folder and give this web page a name you like.

Now you are ready. Let’s talk about how to send HTML email. Start your MacMassMailer software, select the Messages node in the outline view on the left side of the main window and press the “+” button on the toolbar.

Then select the format as “HTML Project” in the new message editor.

Now you must attach the HTML file you’ve just created along with all the images you used on the page. Don’t forget to include the background image you’ve selected previously. After that, you can save your message.
